How it works
STEP 1
Set up an online account based on information provided by us, then submit your case online in English
You or your case manager translates your patient’s medical information (medical, pathology, lab, and imaging reports, etc.) into English. Then, those documents are uploaded to DHI’s secure, cloud-based portal. As relevant, DICOM images and studies can be uploaded as well. You or your case manager can specify up to five questions for our medical experts and consultants.
STEP 2
DHI case coordinator and physician identified
DHI receives your case and assigns a case coordinator who directs your case to one of our medical experts/consultants for review.
STEP 3
Remote Second Opinion provided to you
Our medical experts/consultants will review your case and, if needed, will ask for additional information. A written opinion is provided to you through our platform. A video consultation may be coordinated at your request.
STEP 4
Follow-up questions from you
Upon receiving our written opinion, you may submit up to three additional questions to our medical experts/consultants for up to 30 days after delivery of the written opinion.
