Oncology clinical research & genetics

Baylor has collaborative research initiatives and clinical partnerships purely focused on the prevention and treatment of cancer. Through its partnership with Baylor College of Medicine, Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center has access to highly-trained physicians and one of the largest clinical genetics programs in the United States. This research aids in the opportunity to analyze patients’ genetic makeup to identify their risk of developing cancer, take measures to prevent its onset, and develop custom precision treatments.
